I was digging around my old pile of Hikaru no Go anthologies when I found this short but well drawn story. Five years ago, I couldn't read Japanese too well. Now, I'm still not that good but it's a lot easier so, since this story seemed interesting, I decided to translate it. Turns out I was right. The story is pretty interesting ;) Enjoy.

'You' from higurashi has got to be one of the most gorgeous songs ever. It's so sad but the voice singing it is so sweet. It's bittersweet :~: This person on niconico took this most gorgeous song and turned it into the most gorgeous video ever. I feel compelled to give it a try at translating the lyrics. It's so beautiful~!!

Recently, I finally finished the Persona anime. People(animesuki) were trashing it because of the ending. I can't completely disagree with them. The ending wasn't that great because it was a bit confusing, but, mostly for me, it just didn't strike my heartstrings as much as some other great parts of the series(say the last part on Kanaru ;_;) Nevertheless, this anime earned a spot in my heart because it really made me cry at several intervals ;A; There wasn't anything special about the story, but I guess the style + the animation + music + the circumstances just made it easy to get sucked into(the sad parts).

...I want to watch another anime like it.

Gosh, by now you guys must already know I'm a food nut....so I'm gonna use this post to talk more about...food XD

My bro and I dragged a couple of our younger cousins to the mountains. There we set up camp and had a grand dandy time. 

Well since I'm pretty much doing a lot of real life cleaning lately, I might as well do some organizing here too. Just a listing of past doujinshi I translated recently. And yes, I know will thank myself later.

It was gonna rain and thank god it didn't :D I went to see Nathan's International Hot Dog Eating Contest today <3 Held down at Coney Island, right in front of Nathan's first branch. It wasn't easy finding a good spot, but I got there 3 hours early. It's my advantage for living in Brooklyn^^

I've always wanted to find a way to get both pineapple and tuna into the same dish(for obvious reasons XD) Today my cousin and I decided to have a picnic at the park and both of us decided to make something, so I took the opportunity to try creating that dish. We were about to go when my bro kindly told us there would be thunderstorms at 2pm. Since we had made the food already, we settled for quickly eating it in my backyard. 1:40 - no rain, 2:00 - not a cloud in the sky. My bro was watching Fox news for weather. Figures. Anyway, the point of this post is to show you my creation.
