I was digging around my old pile of Hikaru no Go anthologies when I found this short but well drawn story. Five years ago, I couldn't read Japanese too well. Now, I'm still not that good but it's a lot easier so, since this story seemed interesting, I decided to translate it. Turns out I was right. The story is pretty interesting ;) Enjoy.

I was watching a special 'Memories of HnG' dvd recently. I wanted to see if my dvd player played Japanese region discs and happened to pick up that disc. So I ended up watching a half hour recap of the entire show. All the best parts of course. And if you've seen HnG before, you'll know that the best parts were phenomenal ;) In short I had fun. Then it got up the part where Sai leaves. Oh gosh, even though I knew what would happen, that scene still made me cry ;_; It's because of what Sai says at the end. 'It was fun, Hikaru' ;A; Even though Sai had been feeling so angry about his fate, disappointed in his role as a stepping stone, and jealous of Hikaru, he still could think of something good to say to his protege before leaving. It was just too touching ;~; And the music that was playing in the background ;A; ;A; ;A;

So that's why I was digging through my HnG doujinshi pile :3
